Here at Sentry Oil, we offer many services for our customers. From Service Protection Plans to cover your heating equipment, Oil Tank Protection Plan, Prepaid Discounted Oil Programs (offered once a year), we have great products and services for all! Installations

Boiler, Furnaces, and Water Heater Installations

Our team will help you stay warm during the winter by installing a variety of appliances for your home’s heating systems. We have a team of licensed technicians who specialize in installing hot water systems and steam boilers. Our services also include upgrades and replacements of warm air furnaces, air conditioning units, and ductless, mini-split heat pumps. Home heating and cooling system installations are best left to skilled professionals who can also provide you with ongoing technical support. We offer practical and convenient services that allow you to efficiently manage, maintain, and harness the full functionality of your oil burner, electrical circuitry, and chimney systems. Please note, we are only able to service Mini Split or A/C Systems where Sentry Oil is the installer. 

Oil Burner Services

Our Annual Tune Up is a must for any oil fired heating equipment here in central MA. We recommend having your oil burner serviced once per year, preferably in the Spring or Summer so that your equipment is ready for the heating season. As of 2026, we will be scheduling all Tune Ups in these months only. Fall and Winter services are more complex and take up much of our technicians time for No Heat emergency calls.

PLEASE NOTE: We are only able to provide service to our current oil customers. There are many “Service Only” companies out there that can assist you in the case of an emergent need or just a annual tune up if you buy your oil elsewhere.

Heating Equipment Protection Plans

New for 2026! We have revised and revamped our coverage for all of you oil burning heating appliances. We are now offering Service Protection Plans to our customers. Each Protection Plan is valid for 12 months and includes (1) Annual Tune Up (approx. value of $200.00). You can choose from three different Protection Plans, dependent upon the type of equipment in your home. Whether you would want the labor charges only for service calls/emergency calls covered, or a Parts & Labor plan to cover most of your equipment, you have options. *In order to have a Protection Plan covering your equipment, you must purchase all of your home heating oil from Sentry Oil only. All equipment and oil tanks are subject to inspection before the Protection Plan or Tank Insurance can be put into place. Sentry Oil has the right to deny or revoke coverage based on system age and status.*

Sentry Oil Tank Protection Plan  

The cost for the Sentry Tank Protection Program is $70.00 per year. We will add the Tank Protection annually once the plan is started. If you do not want to continue this insurance plan for any reason you must inform the office. 

Oil Delivery/Discounted Prepay Oil Programs 2025-2026

We offer a Prepay Oil Program for our customers yearly in the summer. We will be reaching out to our current customers the week of August 11th, 2025 with more details. If we are able to offer any left over Prepay oil we will post here once we know. We also offer the following;

• Automatic and On-Call Market Price per Delivery
• Computerized Degree Day Delivery Systems
• Payment Due Upon Delivery (Cash, Check, or Credit Card)
• 11-Month Capped Budget Program: We are unable to offer a locked in/capped rate oil on a monthly payment plan at this time. You are more than welcome to make a monthly payment to us to build up a “kitty” for when you are in need of a delivery. We apologize for this inconvenience as we still navigate an uncertain oil market.
• You may not know, but there is a Fuel Assistance program offered for many residents in MA. It is a wonderful program that not many people are aware they qualify for, and it is free to you to apply. For our current customers in Auburn, Holden, Jefferson, Leicester, Oakham, Paxton, Rutland, Spencer, West Boylston, & Worcester go here: https://wcac.net/fuel-assistance/ For current customers in Barre, Sterling & Princeton go here: https://www.mocinc.org/fuelassistance If you are RE-APPLYING, they will start sending renewals 10/01/2025, or you can go online and use their portal(s). You can still apply for the 2025-2026 Heating season until April 30, 2026.
